Squall Leonhart is a cadet in the military orgainization SeeD and student at Balamb Garden when you start the game. He is a loner, and doesn't like company too much. He is not exactly friendly either. His main concerns almost always lay in the mission/task at hand and he is quite accustomed to following orders. He is a skilled swordsman, and arch-rival to fellow SeeD cadet Seifer Almasy. That diagonal scar across Squall's face is a result of Seifer in a training "accident". Squall also shows romantic intrest in Rinoa Heartilly as the game progresses. Squall's weapon is the gunblade, a combination of a sword and gun. His limit break, Renzokuken (Literally meaning "Sequential Blades"), strikes adversaries a whole bunch of times, and ends in a finishing move (i.e. Lion Heart, Blasting Zone, etc.).
