Rinoa Heartilly is the female lead in FFVIII. She is from the town of Timber, which was taken over by Galbadian forces, and remains under occupation of Galbadia. Rinoa is the leader of a small resistance group called the Forest Owls in this town, which fights Galbadia's forces. She summons SeeD to help out in a mission against Galbadia, and this is where Squall and the gang meet her. Her weapon is the Blaster Edge, a frisbee-like projectile weapon that is launched from Rinoa's arm. Her limit breaks are Angelo, which involves her dog (Angelo) coming to the aid of your party to do damage to the enemy, heal, and other such things, and Angel Wing, which randomly casts magic spells at no cost to you.
