Shiva is a spiffy GF that you'll get along with Quezacotl in the start of the game from Squall's study panel. She's a bad-ass ice godess with a pretty effective attack that'll be good about just about every element of enemy, especially Fire Baddies. I found myself using Shiva pretty much through the whole game. She doesn't have any really great abilities, but Shiva is a good GF nonetheless.
